Members of the Union Township Chamber of Commerce were treated to a special presentation by UHS Business/Marketing teacher Akua Boakye. Businesses from around town gathered to discuss a potential partnership with Union High School Students. The plan is for local businesses to provide job opportutnies, internships and mentorship programs run directly through the school as part of the students school day. The program would be an extension of the current co-op program.

Narcan Training
Prevention Links sponsored a Narcan training for community members and employees of our district. The training was co-sponsored by the School District and the Health and Wellness Coalition of Union County. Narcan is the brand name for the drug Naxolone, which is a medication used to block the effects of opiods, especially in overdose.
