Our Colorado Center for Celiac Disease leads a multinational research
study on the genetic risks and potential triggers of celiac disease, paving
the way for better treatments. It’s also paving the way for better care: with
the help of our team, Children’s Colorado was named the first hospital in
the U.S. to achieve GREAT Kitchens Gluten-Free Accreditation.

Our more than 30 doctors and specialists have developed new national
guidelines for button battery and foreign object ingestion, and are

oo Our Gastrointestinal Eosinophilic Diseases Program is one of the
largest in the nation dedicated to children with allergic and eosinophilic
gastrointestinal disorders, and was among the first.
oo For children with recurrent C. difficille infections, our Fecal Microbiota
Transplant program was the first in the region to offer a treatment that’s
quickly gaini ng a reputation as effective for gastrointestinal infections.
oo Our Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center is the only
pediatric-specific program in the region providing comprehensive
care to kids with IBD.
oo Our nationally-recognized Pediatric Liver Transplant Program is the
only pediatric-focused multidisciplinary liver disease and transplant
