Sport and Physical Activity
This area is well known for many sporting achievements . Job competition is high ; many more people study sports courses related to available jobs – but the sector contributes greatly to the local economy .
• The area hosts major motor racing events at Donington Park ( including Formula E ) and Mallory Park , and horse racing at Leicester Racecourse .
• Leicester is becoming a global hub for eSports , a hugely growing area of sport .
