“Turn left in about 3.1 miles onto North Knox Road” it said, monotone.

“That isn't right,” She said, equally flatly, “Knox turns into Jefferson, we want Washington.”

“Will you just trust the damn Machine?” He said a little bit too hotly for her liking. She looked at him as if she wanted to say something then turned to look out the window.

“Won't you just trust me?” she said after a few moments had gone by. He looked on. His scowl turned forlorn as he took a sideways glance at her full head of blonde curly hair, positioned so it filled up much of the black window.

“You're wrong. You know you're wrong. Why in the world would I trust you?” He said as icy cold as the window she had been resting her cheek on. She whipped around.

“Trust. Just some blind faith. That's all I'm asking from you!” she was mad now.

“It's a satellite! It knows where it’s going, what it’s doing! It can see the big picture!” He said, raising his voice.

“I know I'm on Knox! I know where I am! I know the reality! Do you?!” She shouted.

"But where are we going?! Do you even
