And although Zupanick spends five days a week in the kitchen, she says she’d like to learn to brew one day. For now though, she’s just proud of how well the brew- ery has done. “The brewers in the state of West Virginia are fabulous,” Zupanick says. “We should all be proud of the product we have. All of us are doing really well with it and to be in on the grassroots of it, we should be proud of that.” And she says she's proud of how Dobra Zupas has done on a larger scale as well. “I really want people in Beckley and surrounding areas to look at Dobra Zupas as a place they can come and have a nice meal in a nice atmosphere,” she says. “With the diversity on our menu I think we can satisfy just about any taste just about any body would have,” she continues. “We have cheesesteak, we have pizza, ham- burgers, three different steaks, at least one seafood if not two seafoods, a daily pasta and full-service bar and the craft beer. “And we also have good soup. “… I think they’ll really enjoy their experience here.” • • • Dobra Zupas, located at 600 South Oakwood Ave., is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am. to 9 p.m. ❖ 59
