In 1997 at the age of 59, boardcertified family practice physician
Dr. Jeff Life was overweight, out of
shape and facing rapidly declining
health. With shortness of breath
and muscle and joint pain, Life
began to seek a permanent
solution to his waning condition.
After a change in diet and an
increase in exercise, he saw positive
results, but his progress would
