energy celebration was held on June 1 at
the University of Charleston Rotunda
to launch the Spring 2016 issue, which
highlighted the state’s energy and manufacturing industries.
The staff at WVE continues to feature
this issue each year and encourage the
collaboration of West Virginia’s best and
brightest minds to showcase the enduring
power and potential of energy and manufacturing in the Mountain State despite
the challenging business climate.

connect people from a wide variety of
backgrounds—not just those directly in
the energy industry—in an effort to better
promote and educate about the potential
the energy industry holds for West Virginia
businesses and individuals,” says Babst
