[ community ] Photo Contest Winner Category: Architecture Although Tricia Goode has a degree in computer programming, it was while she was sitting in the stands, watching her sons play sports, that she realized she needed to capture the special moments and achievements of her children. Dodging baseballs, keeping up with the line of scrimmage and lying on a wrestling mat to get the best angles, Goode found that photography is where her true passion lies. As the camera became a bigger part of her life, Goode began to explore West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle. From climbing church towers to get the perfect shot of a street full of vintage cars to following zombies as they lurched through town to capturing the fastpaced training exercises of law enforcement officers, this Moundsville native is never still. Weddings, portraits, parties and architecture are some of the services Goode’s Lifetime Memories provides, and Goode has many award-winning photographs in her portfolio. As the official photographer for many of the events at the former West Virginia Penitentiary, she is always discovering unique ways to enhance and improve her skills.
