Bernadette Smith is proud to have

services veteran with more than 20
years of experience, Smith made a
new commitment to her clients and
her community in 2018 by establishing
an Ameriprise franchise, First Capital
Financial Group.
At Ameriprise, Smith offers a
collaborative client experience where
she and the client identify important
goals, and investment solutions are then
selected and tracked to help address
these goals, all while offering them the
opportunity to see the progress they
are making any time on any device. “It
is exciting to see clients engaged and
empowered in this process,” says Smith.
Much of what Smith does includes
helping people plan for retirement and
beyond, a great service to Wheeling’s
business community and recent influx
of professionals throughout the region.

community. She serves on boards of
United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, the
Women’s Giving Circle and Community
Foundation for the Ohio Valley.
