his winter, Mountaineer Insurance Services (MIS)
added its sixth office in West Virginia by acquiring and
combining two local insurance agencies under one roof.
With these acquisitions, MIS has quickly established itself as the go-
to independent insurance agency in the Greenbrier County area.
MIS President Jonathan Kyle selected Greenbrier County native
Linda Elmore to manage the branch. Linda has more than a decade
of experience in the insurance industry in both personal and
business insurance lines.
Kyle founded MIS in Snowshoe in 2006, just an hour and a half
north of White Sulphur Springs. In 2008, he moved the main office to
Beverly, WV, and soon after established offices in Elkins, Slatyfork,
Franklin and Webster Springs. The agency’s newest office will
primarily serve clients in White Sulphur Springs, Lewisburg and the
greater Greenbrier County area.
Clients in West Virginia and across the county—both individuals and
