Growth Leads to
Charleston-Based Jobs
In 1839, United’s history began when a single office community bank
opened its doors in what is now Parkersburg, West Virginia. Today, United

Orchestra, Boy Scouts and Community Works, to name a few.

donations, such as monetary gifts to the Clay Center, Ronald McDonald
House, University of Charleston and West Virginia State University.
