Of everything that happened, there is only one thing I would’ve
changed about this trip, and that was the news that came
through of the tragic and sudden passing of my father that saw
our journey end a day earlier than intended. I’m extremely
grateful that the trip was almost over, and to Daryl and Ellen
who stuck by our side the entire mad dash home, non stop from
Broken Hill. That was a massive full day of driving, a terribly
difficult day, one made a little easier knowing we had such great
friends by our side.
Being a part of this club has given us so much, we have dreamed
to do touring trips such as these, and being a part of the club
has given us the confidence to get out there and do them, but
above all else, it’s given us some of our best friends, who share
the same love and passion as what we do!
