was like, we made it with ease to the small collection of houses at
the top, the snow was a good 3 foot deep here.
Off to Mt Matlock summit
next, here we experienced
a blizzard and almost
white out conditions, we
agreed it was time to leave,
a slight sticky moment in
some thick snow had the
Jeep crabbing sideways to
get out, but out she got…..
Jeep 1 snow 0.
On to McAdams Gap pub to see if its open, this saw me loose the
back end and over correct, almost sending me over the edge.
Luckily I was only travelling at around 25 kph and the ABS brakes
hauled me up with around 6 inches to spare… Phew! Like I said
“expect the unexpected”, onwards to the Tool shed in Noojee for a
fantastic dinner and a few drinks…. Their Mexican Parma is
absolutely fantastic! Thanks Dicko and Chalida for a great day out
J Richard.
