Dicko’s Snowtrip Sunday

The day started bright and early at 7:00am at the United Servo on
Todds Road. Dicko was already waiting with Chalida and a quick
fuel up and some snacks had us under way, heading out towards
Moe and the Thompson Dam.
We crossed the dam and started climbing towards Aberfeldy, there
were a few idiot out there that were driving way to fast for the
conditions and we had to be ready to expect the unexpected. Some
people just go crazy when there’s snow to be had.
Once we reached
Aberfeldy we found a
fair dusting of snow and
the temperature was
freezing, we had a few
light snow showers
whilst we were there.
We decided to continue
up and see what Mt
Selma was like, the
snow started to fall a bit
heavier as we headed
off, the higher we got the worse the snow became, it was awesome!
The snow was laying
thick and fast as we cut
our way to Mt Selma’s
summit, everything
looked very different and
a few wrong turns soon
had us at the top… We
were practically
ploughing our way
through.
