President’s Welcome – Trev
Welcome to sunny September, the weather is getting better and the
tracks will re-open soon. We had a bumper meeting last month with 92
people and 5 new members a fantastic result. Lots of work going on in
the back ground with the completion of the handover doc and our club
financials back in order. Our new projects are forming a financial budget
along with fine tuning our training program moving into the future.
Most of you are aware this will be my last year as President so we are
also working on a succession plan for President next year, lots of work
happening to make sure our club is fun with lots of trips and events
however making sure the business end is also running a well in parallel.
I’ve just come home from a weekend on Fraser Island what a fantastic
weekend with my MSA4x4 mates, YES I did get bogged and needed a
recovery. I was sad to see people still attempting tow ball recoveries
along with Winch ext. snatching.
I keep nagging you all to consider you’re voting for the Allan Kendall
Memorial trophy makes sure your keeping a mental note of club of
member achievements to go in the running for this amazing trophy.
Keep the trips going, at the end of the day we are about trips and using
our trucks.
