Enfield State Forest. We
managed to find some very
testing tracks in here,
finding ourselves in quite a
pickle on a really rutted
out down hill track,
continuing forward was
not an option, so it was a
double winch pull back up
and out of the hole we'd
literally got ourselves in ( a
first of this type of
recovery for us!)
Poor Richard Smith was the meat between the winch sandwich, and
he was hoping like heck his car didn't get pulled in 2! Thankfully, we
all made it out of this
section unscathed. A group
of our club members were
in the area completing their
basic training course so
although we didn't run into
them on the tracks, it was
funny to hear them working
hard at it completing their
courses. We changed station
to leave them in peace and
continued on finishing out
some of the seasonally
closed tracks (funnily some
that ended up being from
our basic training a couple
of years prior!). Having
covered a heap of ground,
we were quite satisfied with
our days adventures, and
all concluded our busy day
with a nice pub dinner in
Bacchus Marsh.
Thanks Richard Smith, Ash
Dixon, David Mercieca & of course my trusty driver for the
day, Jason Penpraze for all coming out and making it a brilliant day,
