our vehicles we soon got the opportunity to do so with a mildly washed out descent which started out with a rut down the middle of the road which the escalated into a rocky washed out rut once we got around the corner leaving a few of us with the extra incentive from to rock concert as we descended the hill in automatic descent control & the abs doing what it is designed to do & the driver left to concentrate on the steering & keeping the 4X4 out of the trenches .
Once we were all safely down the hill & across the creek at the bottom it was time to hit the trail again with Leigh ’ s ( which he was hiding in another vehicle towards the back ) lead vehicle passengers of Joel & crew clearing a few fallen trees manually , Slowly like all good days we wound our vehicles back to ascend the final hill of the day to come back to where we had started from & after a final briefing for the day we all headed home some in convoy back to Werribee . Shelby & I had a couple of small detours prior to getting home via Mt . Mercer , Ballan then on to Greendale pub for a brief refreshment before heading back to Home .
