Geared to income housing provides aid to any household that is not able to find suitable, affordable housing in the private market. There are many properties in Cochrane that are geared to income, whether you are single or a family unit. To find out if you are eligible for assistance in housing please contact the Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board's Housing Services.
Retirement Living
Recently built in 2016, the Cadence Residence is Cochrane's only retirement living facility for Seniors. Cadence Residence focuses on promoting healthy living choices for seniors who want to remain independent while having access to services as they age in place. Our services include a choice of meals prepared 3 times daily, weekly housekeeping and laundering of bed linens, daily social and recreational activities, private mail box, prescription medication queuing, personal emergency response equipment, guest suite and guest meals available.

Long-term Care
Cochrane offers one long-term care residents, situated alongside the Lady Minto Hospital. Villa-Minto offers the following services: Nursing and Personal Care, treatment and medication administration, special diets, laundry services, room and board, medical care and on-site therapy.
