2.13 ADJUST THE SWITCH ARMS
The WeedRoller PRO motor rotates the magnet mount on
the pivot tube between the two switch arms. The degrees
of roller tube arc is determined by the arc between the adjustable switch arms. The maximum travel arc of the roller
tubes is 270 degrees. The magnet should be adjusted right
or left to achieve the desired arc. See Sec. 2.2 for more
information on roller tube arcs.
1. Disconnect the extension cord from the plug on the
drivehead.
2. Lift the cover on top of the drive head.
3. Adjust the switch arms to the desired WeedRoller PRO
arc.
4. Make sure sensor wires are clear of any moving parts
after adjusting.
6. The magnet mount bracket should be positioned so it
is in contact with the pivot tube bushing. This will set
the gap between the magnet and proximity sensors at
1/4”. This gap should not exceed 3/8".
7. Close cover
8. Connect the extension cord to the plug on the drivehead.
9. Watch the roller tubes. If the rollers do not rotate within
the desired arc, re-adjust the switch arms to the desired
WeedRoller PRO arc.
10. Rollers should not operate within 12" of fixed objects.
11. The WeedRoller PRO is now ready to operate.
5. Position the magnet mount bracket between the switch
arms.
