2.6 ATTACH DOCK MOUNT BRACKETS
1. Attach a dock mount bracket to the dock post with either a V-bolt or U-bolt. Use U-bolts when mounting straight off a
square dock post. Use V-bolts for docks with round posts or to achieve a 45 degree mount angle off a square post.
Secure the bolt with flange nuts (see the following examples).
2. Position the remaining bracket at least 18" above the bottom bracket, insert the V- or U-bolt, and secure with flange
nuts. Torque hardware to 30 ft-lbs.
