petite & sweet created macarons and produced the
display of sweets that also included confections from
sweet philosophy, delysée, and the purple
cupcake, all of which were designed to complement
the wedding decor. At the end of the night, guests were
gifted with gem-like chocolates and a sugar cookie
from The Purple Cupcake that matched the wedding
colour scheme.

NOTES
The custom dance floor, designed by petite & sweet and produced by
event graffiti, also took inspiration from the vintage Hermès scarf.
A seven-piece band from sole power productions
performed on a custom stage. The stage decorated
with a runner of flowers and the couple’s monogram.
Guests later danced the night away to music spun by
DJ Milad and DJ Justin Crocker.
“Our two DJs would take turns playing, we wanted to
make sure everyone was up and dancing! We had
people on their feet until 2:00 A.M.,” Samira notes.
The team at sole power productions also supplied
lighting and AV for the celebration.
The team at elle & be films were on hand to
capture the entire celebration on film, having been
commissioned by the couple to create a bespoke
wedding video.
Samira and Joseph followed their event with a honeymoon in Italy. The newlyweds travelled across the
country with stops in Rome, Venice, Florence, Sorrento and Capri, which they tell us was “an experience
of a lifetime.”
