The Man Behind
Don Robert’s Bridal Car

destination -- success.
And he surely learned a
lot along the way. One
of which is how to value
clients by providing
them topnotch services.
It all started with one car.
Owned and operated by

Management graduate from

Cars’ humble beginning can
be traced back when Robert
had only his dad’s BMW to
rent out and only himself to
rely on. He was in-charge
of cleaning and maintaining
the car, buying flowers to complete its
bridal look, and driving it for a thousand
bucks.
One gig led to another and it was an
article from a magazine that opened
Robert’s eyes to the possibility of having
his own bridal car company. Someone
approached him once but the person
wasn’t looking for Mercedes Benz, not
a BMW this time. He looked for ways to
trade his own convertible Pajero with a
Mercedes Benz. He started to acquire
his own cars and recognized the need
to market his budding business.
Robert started going around Tagaytay,
handed out his calling cards, hoping
to make a name in the business. He
partnered with his wedding sponsor
who owned a vintage car. Eventually,
one car started to multiply.
Named after his own and also then
famous “Don Robert” character of
actor Leo Martinez in the comedy
movie “Ober Da Bakod”, Don Robert’s
Bridal Cars was born.
Now, the company offers variety of
bridal cars, catering to the individual
needs of its clients. From vintage

Twelve years of experience
Since 2005, Don Robert’s Bridal Cars
has driven numerous couples to their
wedding destinations. However, the
road to success was not an easy one for
Robert. There were hurdles and bumps
that he had to face, just like everyone
else who was just starting a business.
With cars having mechanical problems,
Robert’s bridal car options tend to be
limited sometimes. “Yun yung mga
naging problem ko kasi ako lang, wala
naman akong ibang tao (That was my
biggest problem because I was alone
in the business back then),” he shares.
Now, despite having many competitors
in providing modern cars to clients,
Don Robert’s Bridal Cars is proud to be
a top-of-mind in weddings in Tagaytay.
It took twelve years of fun and
challenging joyride before a 28-year
old young man was able to reach his

Bridal car tips for couples
For couples looking to tie the knot in
Tagaytay and wanting to have the most
memorable and picture-worthy ride,
Don Robert’s Bridal Cars emphasizes
the importance of considering
the venue. According to Robert,
convertibles are nice for venues like
Tagaytay Highlands while vintage cars
are a great option for those who love to
play around their photos. Vintage cars
also have more value, not to mention,
a more nostalgic and romantic feel to
it. Prices range from P5,000 to P16,000
depending on car type.
No matter what couples choose,
the bridal car should reflect their
personality and needs while also
considering their budget. At the end of
the day, the road to forever is the same.
