How to still have your BIG DAY on a tight budget ...

Everything that is related to your wedding day screams money . Even things you didn ’ t ’ think would be costly , oh they ’ re costly . It all adds up over time and before you know it you could ’ ve flown back and forth to America 5 times with the amount of money you ’ ve ended up spending .
A lot of people now are getting rid of the idea of having an over the top wedding , and instead , realising that your day is going to be beautiful ; regardless of the decoration , how much your cake cost and what your wedding dress looks like .
HERE ARE SOME OF OUR TOP TIPS FOR HOW TO BUDGET AND STILL HAVE A DAY TO REMEMBER :
CHEAP AND BEAUTIFUL DRESSES DO EXIST :
Why is it that for a dress to be a wedding dress , it has to be over the £ 1000 price point . That really isn ’ t the case . There are so many retailers who sell dresses for under the grand mark , saving you a lot of money in the long run . It doesn ’ t mean they lack in quality or style , there are still thousands of options for a cheaper price .
WED2B :
Wed2B ’ s bridal dresses range from £ 99 to £ 699 , with their platinum range prices going up to £ 899 . With stores scattered all over the United Kingdom and Wed2B running a ‘ no appointment ’ service , you can spend all day trying on a range of beautiful dresses until you find ‘ the one .’
HIGH STREET STORES :
High street retailers such as ASOS , MissGuided , Debenhams and Lipsy have created bridal and wedding collections to their stores . For not only the bridesmaids and wedding guests , but now , stores are offering wedding dresses for over half of the average price . Can ’ t knock it until you try it , you might just find something at your local shopping centre .
ON BUDGET VENUES :
There are so many different locations that are on offer for you to have your wedding at that doesn ’ t have to cost thousands of pounds . Many people are now opting to having it at their house or a family or friend ’ s house , particularly weddings in the Summer with the use of a big back garden . All you have to do is get a marquee and you ’ re set for the day ( fingers crossed it doesn ’ t rain .) A more popular approach is to have an intimate wedding at the registry office , which could cost as little as £ 50 to do . If you still want a reception or get together with more people after , you could hire out your local cheap hall or community centre .
MINIMAL DÉCOR IS OKAY :
No one is going to know the difference as to whether you have 50 or 200 flowers , whether you got your invitations professionally done or made them yourself , and definitely not judging you on where you bought them from .
Brides sell their decorations online on ad sites and bridal second hand sites , so you can save so much money and effort by having what somebody has already had .
If you want your own décor to fit your theme for a cheaper price , go to places like Hobby Craft and Wilko , your typical sale stores , to find decorations and DIY bits and bobs to help you in the long run . Make your own invitations yourself , classic and stylist for a low price , you really can ’ t go wrong . Have a small bouquet and single flowers for the bridal party , and even go with fake flowers instead , they ’ re not going to die and they ’ re going to save you money .
