UK: April 2015 – Animal feed company fined
following the death of a lorry driver who was
buried under a mound of soya meal. Company
breached Section 3(1) of the Health and
Safety at Work etc Act 1974, which relates to
failing to ensure the safety of non-employees.
USA: February 2015, Ashley Furniture faces
$1.76M in fines after OSHA finds more than
1,000 worker injuries at Wisconsin site in past
36 months
£150,000, 1 death

UK: May 2015, tyre manufacturer Pirelli fined
£150,000 after an employee died when he
became trapped in an industrial autoclave for
more than two hours. Investigation found no
system in place to make sure the autoclave was
checked before it was switched on.
USA: Olivet Management LLC, a real estate
development and management company faces a
total of $2,359,000 in proposed fines from
OSHA. The company has been cited for
exposing its own employees, as well as
employees for 13 contractors, to asbestos
and lead hazards

The reward amount was 43 million Korean
Won (approximately USD 40,000). The
company had to pay 360 million Korean Won
in fines (approximately USD 333,000).
