STATE OF THE ARTS
New Sculpture
& Ceramics Studio
After more than a year of planning and construction, the
Department of Art and Design cut the cardboard ribbon on its
updated Sculpture and Ceramics Studio in Spring 2018. These new
state-of-the-art facilities will house our growing arts programs.
The studios offer space for students to take their projects through
the entire creative process from beginning to end, with dedicated
space for each discipline and project phase.
Augusta University President Brooks Keel cut the ribbon and
welcomed those in attendance to tour the facility along with
Department of Art and Design Chair Scott Thorp and other guests.
