ITALIAN GARDENS:
Villa Attems

located in the park of Villa
Piedimonte, miraculously
not bombed during the
1st World War, it was later
brought here.
There is also an ancient
well, now with only an or-
Villa Attems Cernozza de
Postcastro is an estate dating back to the '600, which has always belonged
to the Counts of Attems.
The villa is surrounded by
a lovely view overlooking
the park, full of a variety of
plants, colors and scents.
(Laurus nobilis), palm trees, cypresses (Cupressus
sempervirens.), Maritime
pine (Pinus pinaster), Lebanon cedars (Cedrus libani), linden (Tilia spp.),
Oak (Quercus spp. ), cherry (Prunus avium) and
many other fruit trees, well
integrated with jasmine
There are magnolias (Ma- (Jasminum spp.), camellia
gnolia grandiflora), laurel (Camellia spp.), hydran-
namental function, which
was originally used as a
part of the Lucinico community. The country owns
four more wells, evenly
spread on its territory.

oleander (Nerium oleander), pittosporum (Pittosporum spp.) , geraniums
(Pelargonium spp.), tulips

In the park there is a fountain designed in 1760 by
