I own four Saddlebreds and a Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse! I started tracking my miles with the Washington State Trail Rider's Distance Derby in 2015, where I took first place with 2,440 miles ridden that year. In 2016 I had hip surgery but still managed to eek out 2,022 miles. A heavy amount of those were on my once in a lifetime mare Peggy. Looking forward to seeing what 2017 has in store for me on the trail!
