y interest in photographing horses came about in Thermal, CA. while living on a small boarding ranch facility called Las Mananitas Arabians. My best friend from high school was the horse trainer there. I have many fond memories of living and interacting with the horses on a daily basis. Since I was just out of high school and still a bit awkward with my life and direction, I found solace by being among the herd. I have always thought horses had a great healing effect and offered us caring insight into our souls. They are patient and magical and gentle animals.

A biographical look at the works of a gifted equine photographer

As time went on and I moved on – life took many twists and turns and careers. I spent most of my early adulthood managing a chain of photo labs in San Diego. That career transitioned to computer repair. However, I always knew in my heart that being around horses was my "zen” place to be. After moving to Arizona in 2001– I started to pursue the Horse Art business again- but this time in a more artistic way. It’s been a blast ever since then! I have developed more and more as a photographer. I have been able to increase the reach of my artwork through several Arizona Art galleries and through my website and social media. But the best part is still when I’m out in the field spending time with horses and the next best part is when people find a deep connection with my work and are so satisfied with the Horse art they choose for their home.
