Shellbird, Inc. at Rising Hearts Ranch
Silt, Colorado
It was in 1999 that Owner/President Michele Pfeifer laid down the foundation to her current horse operations and purchased a ranch in the sleepy mountain town of Silt, Colorado. This ranch, Rising Hearts Ranch, was named so because Michele saw it as an inspirational place that captured the heart and soul of everyone that visited it, a place that lifted hearts.
Today, the 256 acres ranch is home to a variety of animals, king of which is the horse. Mi Regalo Di Angelo is a cornerstone stallion for Shellbird. Sired by the winningest Arabian stallion of all time, DA Valentino, and out of the great mare, HL Infactuation, Mi Regalo Di Angelo has a heritage and a promising future that he comes by honorably.
The ranch presently stands four purebred Arabian stallions as part of the grand Shellbird herd. Verastrella, an '07 mare, is making her mark both in the show ring and in the breeding barn.
