The past two years riders really did get to see Bigfoot, and some were brave enough to even have their picture taken with him. Is he real? Well, we will leave that conclusion to each individual. Great memories and campfire stories are formed at every ride!
This year the Back Country Horseman of Uwharrie came out so folks could meet with members and see what they are all about, and to hear how they try to take care of the trails and make improvements.
This year we gave out pink bandanas and asked folks to wear pink for a fellow Uwharrie Bigfoot rider who was hurt in a motorcycle accident. Next year we plan to hold a raffle dividing the funds to the Back Country Horseman of Uwharrie and a fellow rider in need.
It's amazing what one crazy idea turned into! Oh and always be on the look out. He might just be out there!
