I have lived in Wyoming since 1976, and saw my first band of wild/feral horses led by a Cremello stallion during a fall snowstorm while riding a bus to work at the Lucky Mc Uranium Mines, in Gas Hills, Wyoming. He had a large band of mares and foals, running full bore through the snow. I never forgot that sight, and I’ve continued to follow, watch and photograph the wild herds ever since. Over the years, I have learned their behaviors, lineage and most importantly their history.
