Clinician Lee Hart

October 6-9, 2016 Lee Hart will have a four day horsemanship clinic at VHR. In 2017, Lee has two different five day clinics in May. If you want to be the best, you need to train with the best!Lee Hart has won numerous world championships in different divisions and genres. He is the current EXCA World Champion in the Futurity and Pro Divisions. Lee provides top level instruction for all levels of competitors; no matter what your current level, all riders can improve.

Clinician Brandy Von Holten

Brandy has extensive training in martial arts, a BS in biology, BA in criminal justice, and her Masters in Teaching. Her specialty is in confidence training and body awareness/body control. Brandy teaches private lessons year around and multiple clinics throughout the year. In 2015, in her first competition as a Pro, she placed 3rd at AHCA Nationals in the Open Division.

VHR Training Weekend

The next VHR Training Weekend is August 6-7, 2016

VHR has a way for riders to get started into obstacle competitions that includes an optional clinic on Saturday and a friendly competition on Sunday, where the judge will give you feedback on every obstacle. After the competition, the judge will walk through and address ways to improve and positive aspects that were displayed that day.

VHR Cowgirl Challenge

July 30-31 and September 24-25, 2016!

This is not your typical competition! This competition is for TEAMS of 2, 3, or 4 person groups with only female competitors in 8 events; half are equine events and half are non-equine events. The VHR Cowgirl Challenges combine categories such as barrel racing, ranch pleasure, trailer backing, and campfire cooking. Each competitor has to do an equine and a non-equine event. These competitions have been very well received and have vendors and sponsors lining up, which equates to an action packed weekend with fun competition and shopping!

VHR Mule & Donkey Gathering

Come check it out September 16-18, 2016!

VHR wanted to make sure that the mule and donkey enthusiasts know they are welcome at the ranch. This event is designed for learning and entertainment. Twelve trainers will go head-to-head in a competition called the VHR Mule and Donkey Badass Showdown. Over the three day event, guest will have the opportunity to take mini-clinics with their favorite clinicians as well as shop with vendors from all over!
