Eagle Ranch is a perfect place to get away and relax. Jerry and Cheryl Hennings are owners and managers along with their daughter, Erin, and her husband, Ryan. We are located in the northern foothills of the Ozark mountains. We have close to a thousand acres of trees, wildlife

and babbling streams. We have over 70 miles of marked and unmarked trails all leading back to camp on our privately owned land. Our trails

vary in degree of difficulty, ranging from wide lazy trails where you can ride side by side around the hay fields; to rocky, steep, hilly trails for those that like a more challenging ride. The shower house is complete with showers, dressing rooms, sinks, mirrors and electrical outlets and it’s heated for use during the colder months. There are a variety of campsites available with over 50 electrical hook-ups near the stalls and shower facilities. We have unlimited number of primitive campsites. The stalls are covered and secure with separation from neighboring horses.

We would love to share our piece of heaven with you. You can reach us by phone at

ETS - Equine trail sports

2017 silver buckle series ETS is a nationwide association with each event comprised of 6 or more obstacles offered at three levels, novice, intermediate, or advanced. You decide the level you will compete in at each obstacle and the obstacles are not timed. The event is either on the trails or in a course/arena. Eagle Ranch is hosting nine ETS Obstacle Challenges over three weekends with the six highest placements in the same division to win a buckle in each of the three divisions. Dates are April 1-2, June 3-4, and September 16-17. We have been hosting trail and obstacle challenges of various types for over ten years.

UHCA - Ultimate Horsemans Challenge Association

April 8, 2017

UHCA is an organization holding timed obstacle competitions in Kansas and Missouri. They offer year end awards in eight divisions with competitions once a month. Josh Rushing shows how it’s done at one of the UHCA competitions held at Eagle Ranch. Josh along with the help of Riverside Cowboy Church have consistently hosted great competitions at Eagle Ranch. The last two years had a record number of entries. This is one event you don’t want to miss if you like to compete. Pastor Roger Beech judges on Saturday then leads cowboy church on Sunday.

MCWRA - Midwest Chuck Wagon Racing Association

This is our fourth year hosting the MCWRA races. In 2017, there will be races in June and September. The September Races will be the association finals for the year. It’s a great time of family fun. There are teams of three racing in each of eight divisions. The team with the fastest qualifying time between both days wins the division for the weekend. There are fun games for the children between the races both days. The horses used to pull the buckboard and classic rigs along with the outrider horses are retired Thoroughbred race horses.

Eagle Ranch

Is home to Eagle Ranch Cowboy Ministry and Wings of Faith Therapeutic Riding Center. We also host visiting Cowboy Churches - Riverside Cowboy Church, Open Range Fellowship, Heartland Christian Gathering and Pastor Gene Gann of the MCWRA.

Eagle Ranch Cowboy Ministry

Our ministry is set in a non-traditional setting using God’s beautiful creations as our “church” house. Our motto is “It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, or even what’s on your boots!” We hold church service on Sundays at 9:00 in the pavilion. We also host several annual events like a Christian Horsemanship Youth Camp, Retreats, Revival Meeting and Healing Services and a Christmas Lighting Display.

New this spring, we will be opening a prayer room where people can come to learn what the bible says about healing and to receive prayer for healing. In 2017, we will be having a Spring Revival along with a Fall Revival. These have a been a great time of refreshing and renewing a call on attendees lives. We have seen many notable miracles, signs and wonders in the last couple of years as many have come to seek the will and call of God for their lives.

Wings of Faith

A SPIRITHORSE CENTER

Therapeutic Riding Center

In 2014, we opened a Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center! Cheryl is a certified equine therapist through SpiritHorse International out of Corinth, TX. Wings of Faith mission is “to assist individuals with special needs in reaching their full potential through interaction with horses.” Wings of Faith is a non-profit 501(c)3 that provides Equine-Assisted Therapy to people with disabilities. We serve riders through SpiritHorses’ research-based award winning 88 step program by aiding them to succeed in academic development, communication and social development. Many riders have spoken their first words or taken their first steps at Spirithorse Centers. There is no cost to the riders and Wings Of Faith is funded completely through donations. It truly is amazing the see how much improvement can be made (strength in legs and hands that are weak) in just a few lessons.

CHRISTIAN HORSEMANSHIP YOUTH CAMP

Our fourth Youth Camp will be the last week of June. We have many fun camp actives scheduled including horsemanship clinics, dynamic evening worship and teaching, daily devotionals, bible studies, obstacle challenge with prizes, moonlight ride along with water activities during the afternoons. Campers bring their own horses to ride or we have a couple available for youth that want to attend but don’t have their own horse.
