Nancy Slater is a Parelli Professional who has dedicated her life to making the world a better place for horses and the people who love them. Her self-less passion for educating kids as well as demonstrating how a real partnership with your horse can lead to competitive success is what makes Nancy stand out. We could not be more proud to be represented by Nancy as she helps us to teach horse riders, trainers and owners to use love, language and leadership to reach their goals with horses. Open minds and hearts, with harmony as the goal
Out in the Enchanted Forest by the pond, Linda talked about her new sequence of refinement she called the Precision Box. We learned strategies and rein positions to get a horse comfortable, supple, and confident in moving into the bit. Our horses’ found boundaries, without anyone pulling on their mouths. They stayed in harmony with the riders, dancing around the Forest in formation. Coco, the Parelli’s Professional photographer took some beautiful shots of everyone that last day. The picture was harmony.
At the farewell, Linda’s barn area was decorated with tables and chairs, lit with torches, tiki lights, campfires, pizza and cupcakes! Laughter and fellowship ended this perfectly dreamlike experience for all of us. Can't wait till next year, when we will gather again. Hopefully more Parelli Instructors will be able to join us then -an even larger group of individuals, coming together with open minds and hearts, with harmony as the goal.
