Brother & Sister Duo

Mounted shooting has a knack for attracting people of all ages, from near and far, to exciting and competitive events. Two of our local Sin City Mounted Shooters (SCMS) in Nevada have been long time supporters of not only the sport of mounted shooting but of Arizona’s affiliated club, the Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooters (ACMSA), and the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA). Both of these young shooters started as wranglers in 2008 when their father, Joel Ostrovsky, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the USAF, introduced them to this exciting sport he had only recently begun. This month we are going to highlight this brother and sister duo, Samantha “Sammi” and Mitchell “Mitchy” Ostrovsky, who regularly support and compete in many local, state, and regional events.
