HOST TOURNAMENTS
Host tournaments are constructed by
hosts to give the rider added fun and
another reason to ride. Host
tournaments may be a series of rides
put on by one host or can be a series
of rides put on by multiple hosts.
Hosts typically offer prizes for the top
riders and/or equines in their
tournaments. They may charge a fee
with each event entry or it may be
sponsored, making it free to the rider.

BREED TOURNAMENTS
Breed tournaments are tournaments
that are sponsored by a breed
association. These tournaments
typically run from January through
December and are available to annual
members. To be eligible for a breed
association tournament, simply make
sure your equine’s record is updated
with his/her breed association
information in the ETS system. Any
time you ride, your equine’s scores
are automatically calculated into the
breed association tournament. Check
our website for full details with our
breed association tournaments,

ANYONE CAN CREATE A
TOURNAMENT
Tournaments are not restricted to
National, Regional, Host, or Breed
Associations. A tournament can be
constructed based on many different
criteria options for any set of riders or
equines. They can be based on the
event type (In Hand, Trail, Arena, etc)
rider age, date range, location, host
group, based on bracket, based on
scores or ranking points, etc etc. If
you’d like to sponsor a tournament or
set up a tournament for a specific set
of riders and/or equines in the ETS
system, simply email
([email protected]) or
call (512-538-1580) us and we will
make it happen!
