Ashley Murphy was born into a family which was unable to care for her, she was born with HIV and her condition later on developed to Aids. At only 6 months old Ashley was already fighting for her life in the hospital. Since her family couldn’t properly take care of her she was placed in a foster home, her foster family were told that she only had 5 weeks to live but after taking ashley home her health improved. Ashley courageously has been publicly speaking about her condition since she was 10 years old and she has even spoken at We Day events all across Canada. She has even shared the stages with people the likes of Magic Johnson, Queen Noor of Jordan and Martin Luther King III. Ashley’s story has inspired and gave so much people around the world hope, specially others with the same condition as her. Her message is that we can always overcome our challenges as long as we don’t give up.
