Molly Burke was 4 years old when she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa which is a rare retinal disease which causes loss of vision. Molly started speaking publicly when she was 5 years old as an ambassador for The Foundation of Fighting Blindness Canada. Molly’s vision started to get worse but it never brought down her confidence, in fact it only made her stronger. Her life wasn’t easy, she constantly struggled from bullies and even had depression and anxiety but she still found ways to overcome her problems no matter how big or small they were. She even had the courage to help others. She later on started traveling, sharing her story with people all over the world. She is a We Day motivational speaker and has stepped on the We Day stage all over North America, the United Kingdom and stood in front of over 20 thousand people. Molly has also shared the stage and worked with the likes of Macklemore, Malala Yousafzai, Demi Lovato, Martin Luther King III, Mark and Craig Kielburger.
