Sauti Moja's Girl-Mother Program assists in several important ways,
including:

Ensure that each girl has access to good medical care in support of
healthy pregnancy and safe delivery.
•
Mediate with the families of the girl to encourage them to stay open to
ongoing educational opportunities rather than forced, early marriage for
the girl.
•
Secure scholarships for the girl mother in support of continuing
education at private school for those girls whose families are unable to
afford this.
•
Monitoring the health of the baby through regular visits with the
caregiver, and ensure that the child is developing normally in a safe
environment.
•
Provide on-going one-on-one counsel to the girls, reproductive health
and life skills training, and on a broader level, sexual and reproductive
health education in schools.
