T
he Institute of Estate Agents of South
Africa would like to congratulate RE/MAX
Property Associates on the celebration of
their 20th Anniversary in Southern Africa.
This is an impressive achievement.
ABOUT US
Over the past 79 years, the Institute of Estate Agents of SA
(IEASA) has been a pillar of strength for the country’s real
estate community. As times changed, so did the Institute
in order to remain relevant, especially with regard to the
transformation that has taken place in the industry in
recent years.
RE/MAX caters for the entrepreneurial spirit of estate
agents who wish to run their own businesses backed
by an established international brand. As a result, the
RE/MAX brand is well represented in both the cities
and in the many small towns scattered throughout
the region. The brand is recognized and respected
in industry as being a market leader and trendsetter.
And now, as the only registered real estate labour
organisation, the Institute continues to assist its members
via all our regional centres around SA. It provides two
distinct services to these members, the first being to
provide principals and agents, through the regional
structures, with top-class training sessions with top
speakers, regional awards, events and corporate social
responsibility initiatives...
The need for transformation of the real estate
industry in South Africa is essential and once again
RE/MAX has taken the lead when in January 2015
they became the first company to conclude an
empowerment deal.
The Institute of Estate Agents has had a proud history
of representing the industry for the past 79 years and
would like to thank RE/MAX for the support and
loyalty shown both as members and office bearers
and invites those agents who are not members to
join.
In the Western Cape region the RE/MAX Property
Associates support for PropStats, an online property
sale reporting system driven by the agents, has
significantly contributed to its success and in turn
has added value to their own businesses
The Institute of Estate Agents would like to wish
RE/MAX continued growth over the next 20 years.
Kind regards
Lanice

PRESIDENT IEASA
What we do for agents:
The Institute of Estate Agents (IEASA) aims specifically
to add value to the lives and careers of estate agents in
South Africa. Its objective is to benefit its member agents
and the estate agency industry as a whole, by providing
relevant information and top-class training, and by helping agents to navigate the increasingly complicated legislative landscape surrounding property transactions.
At national level IEASA is represented on or in communication with all the relevant stakeholder, boards and
organisations that deal with matters affecting the estate
agency industry, and provides input on behalf of its members as well as feedback to those members about any
important changes or decisions.
At regional level IEASA offers members and colleagues
opportunities to access training, legal workshops and
networking events, as well as a support structure to assist
agents in their day-to-day operations.
