Denise Joy notes “I am still evolving and in building my coach- ing business I am focusing on working in a way which my clients and serves “ME”. As a coach, I cannot 100% create changes in the lives of others if I am not 100% liv- ing my truth, using all of my gifts and tal- ents and not hiding any of “ME”. Especially in helping women today, transform into their authentic selves, whether in rela- WE ARE BEAUTIFUL MAGAZI NE - 63 - tionships, their career or in building their businesses. I, and other women, need to stand up and be heard, we need to come from a place of truth on what we really want. The Women’s March in 2017 was a beginning, women had a platform. Now that platform needs to be further defined, inclusive all women, a platform not out of fear, anger, or mistrust; a platform out of authenticity, collaboration, a clear agenda, focus and also the action behind it—living their true authenticity or “colors”, leading themselves, their families, their community, their state, country and the world. A quote which truly resonates with me, is by the Dalai Lama, “The world will be saved by the Western woman.” We cannot lead or save the world, if we do not truly know and live our own authentic lives. Anger, shame, fear, lack, competition, comes out of not living authentically. I teach women there is no lack and there is no competi- tion when we are living true to ourselves, because there is no one else that can live our life or has the exact same, unique gifts as each one of us lives with and possesses.
