added to our exclusive online community
group which shares inspiring quotes, vid-
eos, personal development, coping strate-
gies, and tips for success. Girls will also be
invited to our summer intensive program
to further their life skills for success.
My biggest mentors were Joan Venditto
and Cindi Bissell in the Education office at
Albertus Magnus College. Joan made me
realize my love for education and saw in
me abilities of determination and passion
for learning. She cared deeply about the
success of each of her students and con-
tinues to reach out to us even to this day.
Cindi always had chocolates on her desk
and I would snag one each time I came
into the education office. However, it was
much more about the talks we would have
and less about the chocolate (special dark
Hershey’s!). She would offer an ear to
listen and warm advice. Both were truly
invested me and I wanted to make them
proud.
My favorite quote is, “It is important to remember that we all have magic inside us” ( J.K. Row-
ling) I don’t think we as humans realize how much energy we have to influence the world, we just
need to believe and it can be real.
I am beautiful because I truly believe in the beauty of bringing out the best in others. I get so
much joy knowing that I have brought out the light and potential of another person.
