You can bring your own tried and true model from home, but that means you’ll have to keep up with it the entire time. You can rent a stroller inside Disney parks, which is super convenient but also on the uncomfortable side. Or you can rent from a third party and have a popular model stroller delivered to your resort for the duration of your stay. Each option has its pros and cons. So, when weighing all your stroller options, be sure to consider the following realities. KIDS’ AGES Infants and toddlers need a substantial, comfortable stroller in the parks. Because the stroller holds all the baby gear and is used as a nap time haven, the non-reclining strollers inside the parks really won’t work. However, young elementary age kids might just need an occasional break from walking, so the sturdy, high-capacity, in-park rentals may be your best bet for this age. TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS If you’re driving to Orlando, your space restrictions consist only of the size of your vehicle versus the size of your luggage. If you’ve got the trunk space, bringing a stroller might be in your best interest if you feel you’ll need it often. If you’re flying, the whole airport process will have to be taken into consideration, as well as any shuttles or taxis. PHOTO BY BRETT SVENSON
