Table-Service credit and I recommend you opt for the Prix Fixe Menu as that will allow you to choose an appetizer , entrée , and dessert which really maximizes your dining credit . The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner service . An Advanced Dining Reservation ( ADR ) is definitely recommended as this is a popular restaurant and it ’ s not uncommon to see people queuing up for a table .
The cuisine is classic French bistro fare , think slow cooked stews , fresh salads , fish , and more . If you have ever been to France and eaten at a brasserie you will feel a pretty overwhelming sense of déjà vu as the food and ambience are really authentically French .
My wife and I dined at Chefs de France for dinner on our most recent trip to WDW . We both opted for the Prix Fixe Menu and ordered an appetizer , entrée , and dessert . The whole menu is not available , but the Prix Fixe options include the restaurants most popular dishes , so there ’ s a good chance what you want to order will be available anyway . What follows is a trip through our meal .
My wife went with the Soupe à l ’ oignon gratinée ( French Onion Soup ) topped with Gruyère cheese and I had the Salade aux lardons et croutons ( Selected greens with house vinaigrette dressing , diced smoked bacon , tomatoes , and homemade croutons ). We were also given a basket of fresh , warm baguette and delicious French butter .
First off the soup , now you ’ ve probably had French Onion Soup before , you ’ ve probably even had good French Onion Soup before but , at Chefs de France you can enjoy PERFECT French Onion Soup . I have only good things to say about this dish . The soup broth was rich , dark , and bursting with flavor . The cheese on top was perfectly melted with the delicious gooey parts and the little crispy bits
