As the tour begins, we are introduced to Figment. Dr. Channing tries to keep him from accompanying the tour, but he does what mischievous dragons do and comes along anyway. During the first three labs, Figment’s zany antics spoil what Dr. Channing has planned. Eventually, Figment diverts the tour into his imagination, as we learn that “one little spark” of imagination can make the world a better place. WHO WILL LOVE IT? This ride seems best served to children, or those who have an affinity toward Figment. FINAL TIPS When exiting the ride and entering ImageWorks, it is worth spending some time interacting with the stations. While not as spectacular as the original Imageworks, it’s worth a few minutes to explore. In the end, I still prefer the original attraction; however, I appreciate the timeless message about imagination, something in which Walt, himself, believed. PHOTO BY LAURIE SAPP
