Tour an Elegant Royal Room at Port Orleans Riverside
The special rooms at the Disney Moderate Resorts are pretty cool. The Royal Rooms at the
Port Orleans Riverside are beautiful. The colors will make you think you are sleeping in a
castle. Royal blue is the color of the day.
The Royal Rooms are “hosted” by Tiana. The theming includes scenes from the movie “The
Princess and the Frog” including a portrait of Princess Tiana. Some of Tiana’s Princess friends
also have their pictures on the walls.
The Pirate Rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort are all pirate. Five minutes in a Pirate Room
and you’ll be talking like a pirate. “Avast you matey’s, strike up the mainsail”.
The rooms are decorated with Jolly Roger’s everywhere and lots of black and reds. The bed
headboards and footboards are in the shape of a pirate ship. It’s pretty cool.
But, are they worth paying extra for?
