transition to queens, with queens available so far at the Values in half of Pop Century. Amenities are better at the Moderates than the Values, without being distinctively so—especially at Port Orleans French Quarter, with no sit-down restaurant, and at Caribbean Beach until the temporary dining related to its refurb is replaced with permanent dining later this year. Personally, I love the Moderates, and have stayed in them almost three dozen times. My favorite among them varies depending on my mood—it can be Caribbean Beach for the kid-friendly theming and pool, Coronado Springs for its pool and extra amenities compared to the other Moderates, or Port Orleans French Quarter for its loveliness and relative compactness and simplicity. But first-timers tempted by the prices of the Values or the delights of the Deluxes should give in to that temptation.
