Disney ' s Caribbean Beach Construction Update 2 / 1 / 2018
Disney ’ s Caribbean Beach Resort is currently undergoing a major construction phase that is set to last into 2019 . This will include a complete tear down and revamping of the former Old Port Royal ( the hub of amenities , dining , and shopping ), new dining options , re-location of the front desk , the addition of a DVC tower , and more . Plus , Disney ’ s Caribbean Beach Resort will become one of the stops on the new Disney Skyliner system . All of that future awesomeness doesn ’ t come without a price , however – the guest experience at this resort has been majorly impacted for the last year and will continue to be for several months . Certain amenities may be altered during your stay – notably dining which is currently a series of food trucks , grab and go locations , and a tented buffet set up in Centertown .
If you ’ re a fan of acquiring as much knowledge about WDW as you can , you ’ ve probably read several times that the main pool , the Fuentes del Morro pool , in CBR is the best pool in the resort . Having swum in it a couple of times on my last visit , I ’ m definitely swaying my vote to a yes .

THE BEST POOL AT WALT DISNEY WORLD
