Since WDW isn’t in my sights, I’ll do the next best thing and
take a virtual trip to the Disney Store via the shopDisney app
(available on both the Apple Store and on Google Play).
I know what you’re thinking. Why not just visit the real Disney
Store? Well, if you must know, the mall in my hometown

me an outlet store about thirty minutes away. Not to mention
the items in the Disney Store (especially one in an outlet mall)

on my phone.
Using shopDisney allows me a more real-time, at my fingertips,
shopping experience, with significantly more stock available to peruse than in the store.
The app description touts it as the “destination for the largest selection of authentic and
exclusive Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars products.”
I find the interface to be user-friendly, with the ability to search based on key terms or
category. A simple navigation menu is found at the bottom of the screen.
The home screen advertises featured categories based on recent movie releases, and other
Disney current events.
You can also shop categories like “Clothes,” “Collectibles,” and
“Disney Parks.” My favorite category is one they call
“Clearance.”
Best of all, any specials or promotions found on
shopDisney.com also apply to purchases made through the
app. You can also allow the app to send you push notifications
for sales.
And if you find a special treasure you can’t wait to have
shipped to your home, the shopDisney app has a handy
