MONITOR FELLOWSHIP WCIT New Freemen’s Dinner 2015, Drapers’ Hall T he New Freemen’s Dinner was held in the splendid environment of Drapers’ Hall. One of the most sumptuous of Halls, Drapers’ was built on the site of Thomas Cromwell’s home and still has a very regal feel to it. Our guests this year included Alderman Lord Mountevans of Chelsea, who is also what is known as SABTAC, the Senior Alderman Below The Aldermanic Chair, which means that, subject to election in September, he will most likely be the next Lord Mayor in November, also Nigel Pullman, a past Sheriff and Chairman of the City of London Livery Committee - which provides the guidelines for all the current 110 Livery Companies.
